Kelly Walters, D.M.D / Orthodontist
Dr. Walters obtained her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut and her Orthodontic Certificate from Montefiore Medical Center.
Originally from Lagrange, New York—just minutes from the current location of the practice.
Dr. Walters values her involvement in the community she serves. She sponsors several local baseball, basketball, and soccer teams and travels each year to local elementary schools to provide dental education. Dr. Walters also finds it very important to give back. She and her staff take particular pride in their annual patient appreciation party to help raise funds and awareness for The Ryan McElroy Children’s Cancer Foundation, a local charity that provides support for the families of children in our community afflicted with cancer and other life threatening diseases.
Dr. Walters is married to Clint Walters, a local school teacher. They have two daughters, Eloise and Lucy. In her free time, Dr. Walters enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, and just about anything else that gets her outdoors.
Board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Walters’ professional affiliations include the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Northeast Society of Orthodontists, the New York State Dental Association, the Dutchess County Dental Society, and the 9th District Dental Society. In 2006 she was inducted into the dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon, which recognizes members for both character and professionalism.
